I do still exist. Yay! Well, hello. I'm very sorry for my recent non-participation in the Rings Thing I just don't have the internet time at the moment, though I should be able to post next week. My goodness, I didn't expect people to miss me! It has been quite a while I suppose. As you can see, I am not dead, neither have I been abducted by.. Christ, those jokes are so overdone. I don't have a very intetresting story to tell to explain my absence - I've just had a lot of RL interference which caused me to be separated from my computer since I wrote the last entry. I was expecting to get back and find my Hotmail acount shut down but everything is alright, I just have a page full of mail to go through. No, I'm not that popular, I'm just signed up to a lot of lists etc which build up when I'm not around. I also routinely receive absolute shitloads of spam. I saw the new Austin Powers film at some point over the weekend. I think - things have been slightly crazy the last couple of weeks or so. It was excellent, funnier than I expected. I don't normally watch comedies at the cinema, because it seems like a waste. I could wait for them to come out on video, and in the meantime I can get a laugh out of a lot of free things (it's ridicoulously easy to make me laugh like a maniac). I prefer to see a film that will make a big impression on me and have me thinking about it for a long time afterwards (eg. - LotR) However, I did enjoy Goldmember. I didn't know about the opening sequence, so that was probably the best part of the film for me. My friend and I both agreed that Danny DeVito was the funniest cameo in it. My friend also didn't understand the Preparation H thing, which made it even funnier. I find the best way is to make sure you don't go in expecting one of those plot things, and you'll love this film. I don't have much time left as I've said already, so now I have to go. One quetion for you - do they leave half a foot of space between the bottom of restaurant and pub toliet doors and the floor so they can see if someone's collapsed in the cubicle? I can't think of any other logical reason, unles they're too cheap to pay for that extra half-foot of door.
what movie symbolism are you? find out! Wow, a test that's more accurate than not for a change. From the usual suspect, who always has the best tests. And has been to New York. Jealousy. <3 (Very glad to be back, if only briefly :) |
