I didn't intend to become livejournal 's bitch, I promise, it just kind of happened. I won't be giving this diary up, in fact I'm determined to write here more often from now on.

My place at Greenwich has been confirmed, so I'll definitely be moving down there in four months' time. I am utterly delighted and utterly terrified

I plan to move to a new username once I get there - the theory is, 'laughter in the dark' won't be appropriate any more.

I should stress that it's only a theory.

I've joined a snail mail community on livejournal - letters! Fun! If anyone would like to write, email me. I write long letters. Hopefully good ones. (I am in England in case that's managed to escape your notice.)

I have Sociology in 15 minutes. One more week of college, then half term, then exams, then I'm out of here for good. I can't describe what a relief that's going to be.
